Meet Luis Cardoso, Tour Manager for our New Zealand tours
Why do guests love our long-haul Riviera tours? What do they love the most?
There are so many amazing memories. Seeing Mount Fuji in all its snow-capped glory is always a very special moment, a big bucket-list tick for every guest. What makes the tours special for me is when, at the end, the guests tell me that they have had an amazing holiday, one they will never forget. Those moments are special for me.
How do Riviera make these tours so special for guests?
Riviera does take care of everything for its guests and that allows them to be able to simply relax and enjoy their holiday in the full confidence that their Tour Manager is always there for them and all their needs will be taken care of.
What’s your favourite excursion and why?
My favourite excursion has to be the Milford Sound day in the New Zealand tour. The whole day is beyond spectacular with the drive through the Southern Alps, the mirrored lakes and all culminating with the breathtaking cruise through the fjords. Unforgettable!
Favourite place to visit?
Favourite place to visit is Costa Rica. The whole attitude of the country to life reflects its motto. Pura vida! Its wildlife, nature, food and above all, its people are guaranteed to wow you at every moment of every day. Did I forget to mention the sunsets over the Pacific?
Favourite memory on a Riviera tour?
Now, a favourite memory has to be one the most difficult questions to answer as thankfully, I have a lot of them. Of the many I could have chosen, I will go for having dolphins coming and swimming by our boat in the Milford Sound cruise.
