Travel solo, yet never alone

The Riviera holiday begins from your departure point

The Tour Manager will meet you at the airport (or Eurostar station), check in and travel there with you. Where this isn’t possible, a Riviera team member will greet you at the airport, help you check in and introduce you to other members in the group.

Less is more with small group sizes

The maximum group size of our solo tours is just 25 people. This gives a more intimate and personalised experience. For ocean and river cruising, it depends on your ship size. Our yacht cruises having a maximum of just 19 cabins, so just 19 guests!

Expert Tour Manager looking after you throughout

Our Riviera Tour Managers specialise in solo travel. They’ll ensure you feel safe and welcome, making your trip one to remember (you should learn lots from them too)!

Break the ice at the welcome dinner

To get to know your fellow travellers, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and drink at the beginning of your holiday. It’s the perfect start to the holiday. Your wonderful Tour Manager will ensure you never dine alone (unless you choose to).

More about our solo tours to Ecuador

While Ecuador is relatively small, it boasts some truly epic landscapes, from the majestic peaks of the Andes to the dense Amazon Rainforest and the untouched beaches of the Pacific coast. A holiday here is one for nature lovers with diverse ecosystems to uncover, including misty cloud forests, rocky volcanic highlands and lush tropical lowlands.

A melting pot of indigenous, European and African cultures contributes to the country's incredibly rich cultural heritage. It's home to several well-preserved colonial towns and cities, including Quinto, the capital city. With a UNESCO-listed historic centre showcasing colonial-era architecture, it's one of the best-preserved historic centres of Spanish America.

Six hundred miles off the mainland lie the volcanic islands of the Galapagos. The entire archipelago, consisting of 19 islands and the surrounding marine reserve, is UNESCO-listed and has been called a unique 'living museum and showcase of evolution'. The islands had a profound impact on Charles Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection and today, it is still one of the world's premier destinations for wildlife viewing. Because of the remoteness of the islands, many species found in the Galapagos have not changed much since prehistoric times and its most famous residents include marine iguanas, albatrosses and giant tortoises.
